Are you a data analytics expert looking to join the mobile game development scene? Wargaming is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to lead their Mobile and New Games Data Team in Berlin. As part of the Global BI Team, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless data integration and pipelines, ELT processes, and insightful dashboards for mobile and new game titles.
What You'll Do
Dive into massive player datasets to uncover insights and solve real business challenges. Collaborate with product teams to track event performance, optimize game operations, and improve player experience. Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Tableau or Periscope to visualize key metrics and trends. Design data models that support and streamline the work of Game Analysts. Share your passion for data by giving demos, hosting talks, and mentoring teammates and others in the company. Juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced results-driven environment.
Who We're Looking For
5+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, ideally in gaming. Proficiency in Python. Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets. Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS or GCP. Excellent communication skills to present complex data in a clear, actionable way. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Passion for gaming and curiosity about what makes games successful. Ability to work in a centralized data team supporting multiple products, rather than focusing on a single game. Flexibility to adapt to varied tasks and thrive in a dynamic, agile environment.
What Sets You Apart
Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, BigQuery Airflow, and dbt. Experience in mobile marketing analytics or a basic understanding of the field. A keen eye for detail and a passion for data-driven insights.
Work Mode
Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office). This role is not eligible for relocation or immigration support.
