Analytics: The Key to Unlocking Success
Our Data & Analytics teams are the backbone of our organization, providing powerful insights and visuals that inform game development, technology advancements, and business decisions. As a Senior Data Scientist in our Product Analytics team, you'll apply mixed methods to own the end-to-end life cycle of creating data assets, reports, insights, and predictive models.
Your Role: Shaping the Future of Fortnite
As part of our Product Analytics team focused on Fortnite, your mission will be to:
- Partner with product, design, game development, art, and engineering counterparts to identify opportunities for players to access content they'll love
- Work directly with analytics, engineering, and data platform teams to properly scope and capture the required data
- Transform raw data into insights, production metrics, reports, and models
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of metrics and align them with long-term ecosystem growth
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- At least 5 years of industry or relevant experience, with a proven interest in live service video games
- Strong product intuition and demonstrated background in influencing products by applying data and measurement to drive alignment
- Experience working with development teams to instrument telemetry
- Familiarity with distributed computing using Spark (Scala or PySpark) and data visualization tools like Tableau
