As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the app user experience as a Staff Data Scientist. In this role, you'll collaborate with other data scientists to develop personalized recommendations, targeting algorithms, and ranking models that drive user engagement and retention.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and iterate on machine learning models for personalized experiences
  • Lead personalization initiatives that span modeling, experimentation, and implementation to improve app user experience
  • Design and analyze A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of personalization strategies
  • Develop clean, maintainable code and contribute to reusable pipelines and frameworks

Who We're Looking For

  • A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (MS degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related technical role
  • Hands-on experience with recommendation engines, targeting systems, ranking models, or personalization algorithms
  • Strong proficiency in Python for modeling and data manipulation, as well as advanced SQL skills

What We Offer

  • A target starting base salary range of $180,000 to $210,000, plus target equity
  • Unlimited PTO for full-time employees (with the exception of a few weeks during the NFL season)
